Mangaka design new elements for latest One Piece, Naruto games

New screens have popped up showing new designs from both One Piece Unlimited World Red and Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution. The shots focus on some of the new elements that have been designed by the original authors of both series. For Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto designed Mecha Naruto, seen in Josh's post here, and Uchiha Shisui's version of Susanoo. For One Piece, Eiichiro Oda designed two new characters: Pato, a cute raccoon, and Red, what I assume is the villain of the game. He also supervised the story, so it should be better than your normal game narrative.

The Day One Edition of Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution will also have several special outfits, including Samurai versions of Team 7 and Naruto/Sasuke swapped outfits. Ultimate World Red will also have alternate outfits, but pictures weren't available.

You got to hand it to Namco Bandai. They've got two huge shonen anime properties on their hands with Naruto and One Piece. While the market for both franchises has probably shrunk a bit in the last couple of years, both still have to have one helluva reach. Anybody out there getting either of these games?
