Hey guys, did you want to shoot some more zombies in the face? No? Lukewarm on the whole thing? Well, what if I told you it was an arcade game with a Left 4 Dead skin on it?
According to NesicaNet, arcade company Taito is teaming up yet again with Valve to bring Left 4 Dead: Survivors into fruition. Previous known as Project Z, as shown in the teaser trailer above, there are no other details pertaining to release dates or gameplay formats, but the site connected to the project says "2014 Outbreak Coming Soon," indicating a release sometime this year. We'll give you more info as we get it.
Taito and Valve came together eight years ago to make Half Life 2: Survivor, an arcade shooter that recreated Half Life 2's story, so I'd expect something similar here. Considering the name and license of the project, I'm hoping for some four-player co-op action!
