Internet Explorer collab lets your browser fly around the Gargantia fleet

It's a video game you can play on the browser; it shows off the open source graphics engine Turbulenz. It's called Sky Courier, and this browser game puts you in the seat of apowered glider from Gargantia, in which you have to then run missions flying around town like Ami and the girls. It's got Japanese voice acting and the text is available in Japanese and in English, so it's got some production values behind it. There's even a trailer.

That said, unless you are already familiar with Gargantia and its aquatic-themed scenes on the flotilla, Sky Courier is just a very smoothly executed promotion between Production IG and Microsoft. Fans of the anime series, on the other hand, can check out the setting details that are scattered around the game environment, and get more out of the cut scenes. But hey, it's a free game, it's bilingual, and it's actually pretty okay even if you don't use IE to play it. You can read more about the game in the Windows IE blog, sugoi desuyo ne.
