It seems like Anima(tor)'s Exhibition is off to a nice start, as the first short, The Dragon Dentist, is streaming on the project's Website. Best of all, the video features English subtitles, and the page contains the animation's artwork as well. As a quick heads-up. make sure that you click the "EN" option on the top right side of the page to change the language to English.
While the animation had an interesting premise with having dentists that tend to dragons, I felt that the story was a bit weak, since we didn't get the opportunity to get fully acquainted with the short's setting. Nonetheless, The Dragon Dentist's visuals and character designs were good. If anything, the piece shows some potential if Otaro Maijo (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Jorge Joestar, Drill Hole in the Brain) and his team ever decided to expand on the project's premise.
Since Animator's Expo just started uploading the shorts, there's a high chance that the other anime projects'll be better than the first. Until then, we'll just have to wait for the rest of the anime shorts to go up. While we're still on the topic of Anima(tor)'s Exhibition, what did you all think of The Dragon Dentist?
