Draw: Animator Expo's fourth short is out for revenge

Gather around, people. The next short in the Japan Animator Expo project has been uploaded (NSFW) onto their Website before its targets could draw their weapons. While the fourth piece doesn't bring the abstract goodness that ME!ME!ME! brought last week, Carnage has some neat elements that could be amazing if the short were to be fleshed out in the future.

As always, each piece brought their own unique style to the table, and Akira Homma's (Worked on Key animations for Sky Crawlers and Hal) designs looks great with the short's watercolor-like style. Combined with the textures, the piece itself give the Wild West setting a great nod. On top of that, the story reminded us of that you can never hide from past evil deed-- even if you lived an honest life afterwards.

Since there has been a good amount of variety between the four Animator Expo shorts, I can't wait to see the different visual styles that'll grace our presence when the rest of the weekly shorts arrive. If anything, December'll be an eventful month for anime shorts.
