Have you been enjoying P.A.Works' latest anime about making anime, Shirobako? Well, now you can now experience runing your own anime studio in Kairosoft's new simulation game, Anime Studio Story, which is much like their previous simulation games such as Game Dev Story and Pocket Academy for mobile devices.
I haven't been able to try Anime Studio Story because of phone problems but going by the description of the game on the store page, it sounds very similar to Game Dev Story; hiring employees, managing budget allocation and resources, expansion of your studio and other production duties.
One of the new elements I noticed in Anime Studio Story is the term "dateability" for characters. Now that sounds like a more polite term for a word I can't use on here but is along the lines of referring to one's favorite character as your waifu or husbando, which are terms that people use for their favorite character that they may want or may not want to do certain "special things" to if given the chance (probably never).
Anime Studio Story looks to be a good choice for people looking for simulation games with an anime production related spin that we have only recently seen in recent shows like Shirobako.
