Omega Quintet's latest English trailer has dancing idols

Alright, people; Spring's around the corner and it's time to look at Idea Factory International's most recent trailer for Omega Quintet, Compile Heart's PS4 title where you battle the forces of evil with an idol group. While the video looks like a normal idol performance at first sight, we're actually witnessing the game's PVS (short for Promotional Video System) feature, which lets you customize your own idol music videos.

Other than that, a new batch of screenshots for the game have entered the stage as well. Unlike Omega Quintet's latest English video, we get to see the idols go up against some fearsome adversaries. Based on what we've seen so far, I like the idea that your team is made up of five character, since many modern RPG titles mostly focus on parties of three or four characters. This might be just me, but the idol group's colors give me a Momoiro Clover Z vibe, since they also wear color-coded outfits. If anything, I might hop on the action when I finally get a PS4.

In case you haven't been keeping tabs on Omega Quintet, the game hits North America both physically and digitally on April 28. Europe'll get their share of the physical idol action on May 1, with a digital release hitting the region on May 6. In other words, the two areas'll get to play it within the same week-- good job, Idea Factory International. Once you're done with watching the trailer, you can take a peak at the vidya gaem's screenshots in the gallery below.
