In shocking anime and manga news, Eiichiro Oda has decided to end his long running manga One Piece next week. The abrupt news coincides with the announcement that Shonen Jump has decided to shut down permanently due to a paper shortage. Japanese fans are shocked to say the least.
When asked why, Oda has just stated that he has made too much money, and not been able to buy any real Devil Fruit. Apparently the skilled mangaka believed that if he made enough money he wold be able to grow his own Devil Fruit and eat the mysterious Manga-Manga Fruit, gaining the ability to grow manga from his own hands. In possibly unrelated news, he recently announced his upcoming engagement to internet sensation Grump Cat.
