Twin Tails day is upon us again and let us celebrate!

Today is February 2nd in Japan, which is the officially designated day to celebrate the iconic hairstyle: The Twin Tails. The day "2-2" was chosen because of how the 2's look like two bunches of hair on both sides much like twin tails.

Officially recognized by the Japanese Anniversary Association, Twin Tails day became an official holiday back in 2013. There is even a Japanese Twin Tail association that is dedicated to the celebration and love of the hair style we have seen so much in Japanese pop culture. Their website even has a lot of pictures of girls with twin tails and even categorized the different types of twin tails.

We have mentioned Twin Tails day a couple of years ago but this must be a holiday that we must observe annually for its significance with our chosen hobby. I am also using today as an excuse to post some pictures of my favorite twin tailed characters and some 3D twin tail wearers.

Which one is your favorite twin tail-clad character? Share below in the comments. Dibs on Azunyan.
