Community Spotlight 6/6/2014

Greetings, Anime Vice Community. I'm sure many of you may have noticed the lack of articles and reviews on the site last week. Seems that many of the site's issues had decided to stop hiding in the background and made their presence felt pretty much everywhere. Well, I'm happy to report that many of the site's bugs have been repaired. That certainly makes writing and submitting the spotlight a heck of a lot easier.


I certainly feel that one of Tom's more interesting articles was his analysis comparing early NARUTO and DRAGON BALL . Do you agree, or were you more intellectually stimulated by the SAILOR MOON vs. MADOKA MAGICA debate? Go read those articles in the News section to decide for yourself.

Anime AMV Showcase


To make up for the lack of an AMV in the previous spotlight, I have two additions to make this week. One is an astoundingKILL LA KILL AMV that I've become hooked on. The second video isn't an AMV, but it does make a perfect P.S.A. for why anime and manga shouldn't be made into live-action films. At least, not by Hollywood. Don't let this madness happen to your favorite series. Just say, "No to Live-Action!" Watch it all the way to the end.
