The longtime Macross fansite, MacrossWorld continues its convention tradition this Fall, on October 4th from 12:00 - 6:00 at the Torrance Cultural Center in California. The obviously Macross focused convention is set to feature things like toy/model contests, a "Nyan Nyan" maid cafe, as well as Macross guests. Last year the con featured an intimate concert with Lynn Mimei herself, Mari Iijima.
It seems like the perfect way to meet other Macross die-hards, and probably make some like minded friends. I still haven't personally had a chance to make my way to the con, but have continually kicked myself for missing the amazing Iijima. Depending on the guest they land this year, I might have to make my way to California this summer. After all, how could the world's biggest Macross fan not make her appreance?
