I probably don't say this around here too much, but I'm a huge fan of pineapples and mangoes. Actually, my passion for the latter is bigger than the former, as I find ananas to be great on certain occasions. That said, I would like to apologize to everyone for over-exaggerating my stance on pineapples. Anyway, it turns out that Kamen Rider Gaim Pine Arms and Baron Mango Arms are finally getting their own S.H. Figuarts. Best of all, the two figure'll be released as a set, which makes for a great tropical combo.
Considering that both Riders are two of my favorite Forms in Kamen Rider Gaim, it's great to hear that Kouta and Kaito are being bundled together. In a way, this package represents the current standing between both characters, as their rivalry has been put on hold for a good while. Also, Bandai's S.H. Figuarts team did a great job in capturing both Pine and Mango Arms' key features-- including the Pine Iron and Mango Punisher.
Unfortunately, the two Riders are only be available as a Tamashi Web Exclusive release, so you'll have to go through the usual obstacles to obtain these fine fruity specimens. Hopefully, Blue Fin'll consider releasing this bundle in the west one day, as it'll give more people the chance to add a tropical touch to their figure collection.
If you're interested in PUTTING YOUR TROPICAL FRUITS ON, the S.H. Figuarts Pine and Mango Arms bundle hits the Tamashi Web on January 2015 for ¥ 8,640 (around US $ 84.64). As we wait for the two fruits to ripen, you can take a look at the images of Pine and Mango Arms in the gallery below. Other than myself, who else is looking forward to this release?
