It's been a little while since I checked in with Japanese rocks Hello Sleepwalkers, but their newest single has me doubting my choices. The high energy track, Hyakkiyakou is full of some really incredible vibes, really showcasing everything great about the band. The back and forth between Shuntaro and Narurmi really sounds fantastic, and the two play off each other.
While it's kind of cute, someone in Japan should really warn them about running around with white sheets over their heads. While it might not have the same connotations over seas, it's probably not a shtick they want to bring Stateside. I guess we're still close to Halloween, so I'll let it pass.
