The upcoming Studio Bones series, Blood Blockade Battlefront is looking pretty darned good. The story is based on Yasuhiro Nightow's popular manga, which began soon after he finished Trigun Maximum. Anime character designs are provided by Cowboy Bebop's Toshiro Kawamoto, and in the director's chair is Rie Matsumoto.
The amazing looking series is set to hit Japanese airwaves in April, and I'm sure a US simulcast will be lined up shortly. Looks like just the kind of show we've been sorely missing. How about that music?
