Burlesque show inspired by Cowboy Bebop premieres early May

I love me a good burlesque show. Artful stripping to themes that are close to my heart? Please, give me more! It's one of the reason why I loved both Cosplay Burlesque shows when they were featured at Otakon several years back.

If you're in Seattle on May 2, you'll have the opportunity to watch a burlesque show inspired by Cowboy Bebop. Titled "The Real Folk Blues," the show is produced by Unnatural Redhead Productions, a company that focuses on bringing amusingly themed burlesque shows to the Seattle area. If you're interested, tickets will run you $12 on pre-sale and $15 at the door. VIP tickets, which include priority seating and special grab bags, go for $20 & $25. There's a showing at 7 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m.

I definitely wish I was in the area for this show. I imagine combining artful stripping and Yoko Kanno's music can only lead to good things. Also, based off the photos from the Unnatural Redhead Productions website, I wouldn't mind seeing these performers stripping down.
