Anime Central 2014 opened with a great list of guests. What's actually really unusual is that most of the guests on the roll call showed up at the opening ceremony, which seems like a good omen for a convention weekend given it's very often that guests don't show up bright and early on the first day.
Take a look at the gallery below. The most impressive list of guests, aside from a partly arrived roster of WUG idol group, is the parade of Japanese DJ ready to party with the locals. It's also good to see returning faces like Yoshitoshi ABe and Helen McCarthy on stage once again, along with the usual cast of English voice talents. That said, Bryn Apprill deserves a special shout out for making her first appearance as an anime con guest!
